OpalDam Green: Light Curing Resin Barrier

​OpalDam Green is a methacrylate-based material designed to protect the tissue surrounding teeth that are to be bleached. It is also light-curing and has the ability to reflect light to keep tissues insulated from heat. Light curing for only 10-20 seconds per toothis sufficient. Then dry the gum completely before starting the procedure.

OpalDam can also be used to isolate hard and soft tissues when applying techniques such as sandblasting or etching with strong acids (e.g. porcelain repair procedures), as well as to seal or fix a rubber dam.
